In The Woods
Brand Strategy.
Clearwired was tasked by Amerlink, Ltd. to merge two luxury log home brands—Amerlink and In The Woods—into a new comprehensive website that would lead the log home industry in user experience and provide an information-rich showcase of the In The Woods brand. Through our strategy workshops with stakeholders, to immersive research into the log home industry, we were able to determine the needs and goals of log home buyers and present that information in a beautifully designed and feature-rich web experience. In The Woods website content is managed through our intuitive and powerful content management system, Blend.
1 Immersive ResearchWe began the project with in-depth research into the log home purchasing process. We interviewed past Amerlink customers to determine primary motivations for choosing Amerlink and learned about hurdles buyers experience in the process of purchasing a log home.
2 Task GridsOur research resulted in the creation of a design vision that outlined the strategic goals of the redesign based on numerous interviews and the patterns of use that emerged.
Norwegian Cruise Line
Agile redesign.
As third party consultants, we worked with Summit Projects and Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) to design the information and page flow for NCL's website redesign project. Working within an agile development environment, we rapidly translated user stories into easy to use interfaces and quickly reacted to comments and changes through a continuous feedback loop. During this project, we specifically focused on the booking flows for both consumers and travel agents, including the search functionality. Our top priority was to create a simple yet helpful cruise search and booking flow for the users of the site.
1 Detailed WireframesWe provided Summit Projects and NCL with detailed wireframes that specified the general layout of the web pages, including required information and functionality.
