IT Excellence Awards

The New Mexico Information Technology & Software Association is holding it's third annual IT excellence awards in Albuqueruque in October 2007. This year they have expaned the categories to include an Internet Solutions category.

The award criteria for solutions are as follows:

• Innovation
• Improved Productivity
• Customer Satisfaction
• Return on Investment

Hmm... I guess usability and user experience could fall under improved productivity and customer satisfaction. Anyway, solutions must have been completed between July 1st, 2006 and June 30th, 2007 and the solutions must have been provided by organizations or individuals operating in New Mexico.

So, to all of you local web development shops in New Mexico. Now is your chance to show 'em what you got! Nominate your company or yourself, but let's make sure there are enough solutions to warrant the new category. You can read more about the IT excellence awards here.
