The Loop
Simplicity over Complexity?
I finally finished reading John Maeda's "The Laws of Simplicity." For some reason I had put this book down and it got lost in the stack with only a few chapters left to read. The book is small and to the point: simplicity is not only a quality it is also a strategic foundation.
Car Talk
My current daily driver is a 21-year-old Nissan Maxima wagon that came with a relatively unique feature: voice warnings. Its an interesting case study for user centered design.
Subject to Change
In preparation for our upcoming UX Workshop, I have been reading through the latest literature to explore different perspectives and gain new insight. One of the books I recently finished was "Subject to Change" written by the folks at Adaptive Path. More than anything else the book was an affirmation.
